Livelihood Analysis

The concept of “sustainable livelihood” is increasingly important in the development debate. Members of the E-Link Consult Ltd have vast experience in undertake livelihood and gender analysis by considering some of the practical, methodological and operational implications of a sustainable livelihood approach.

Institutional Analysis

Institutions refer to cultural values, legal frameworks, market mechanisms and political processes: the rules of the game’. E-link Consult team prior to embarking into any interventions on the ground normally performs institutional analysis with the aim of identifying key stakeholders to be engaged in various development initiatives. Institutional analysis can play a role at almost any stage in the development of pro-poor interventions but will particular relevance depending on when it is deployed.

Women Engagement Strategy

E-link Consult Ltd was engaged by Eastern Arc Mountain Endowment Fund (EAMCEF) under Norwegian Government,to Assess how the organization Engage Women and develop Women Engagement Strategy in 2022.  

GIZ Gender Analysis Zanzibar

E-Link Consult Ltd was Engaged by GIZ to Conduct Gender Analysis for Strengthening Water Security  project in Zanzibar-2023.

Gender Analysis in the Msimbazi Catchment Dar es Salaam.

E-Link Consult Ltd was Engaged by GIZ/CDC International in 2020 to  conduct Gender Analysis in the Msimbazi middle catchment area for the Flood Management.

Zanzibar Blue Economy Gender Strategy

E-link Consult Ltd member was engaged by UN Women Tanzania in developing of Gender Strategy for the Zanzibar Blue Economy Sector in 2023.

Research on Decentralized Energy Access in Tanzania

E-Link Consult was engaged by IIED/Eco Associates Tanzania to take part in undertaking a research on Decentralized Energy Access in Tanzania. The assignment conducted from August –February 2017
