Natural Resources Assessment & Management

Poor rural people face a series of interconnected natural resource management challenges. They are in the front line of climate change impacts; the ecosystems and biodiversity on which they rely are increasingly degraded and their access to suitable agricultural land is declining in both quantity and quality. Sustainable environment and natural resource management lies at the heart of delivering poverty reduction for these people. E-Link consult has experience in training and research in addressing the poverty – environment linkages encompassing aspects of natural resource management in the various livelihood systems.

Research on Decentralized Energy Access in Tanzania

E-Link Consult Ltd was engaged by IIED UK to Conducting a research on Decentralized Energy Access in Tanzania. Consultations were done in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Mwanza and Arusha in 2016.

Strategy on tree-based biomass energy in Tanzania

E-Link Consult Ltd was engaged by TFCG/SIDA in 2015 to develop the National Tree Based Biomass Energy Communication Strategy and Action Plan (5-year Strategy 2015-2020).

High-level stakeholder’s consultation

Member of E-Link Consult Ltd was engaged by TFCG/World Bank in Conduction of high-level stakeholder’s consultation from Government Ministries for the purpose of preparing a policy paper and project concept on charcoal production in Tanzania (mainland and Zanzibar)-2020.

E-Link Consult Ltd was engaged by EWURA to generate valid and consistent customer feedback on regulated services (i.e. to receive the voice of the customer) and obtain authentic data on to what extent consumers of regulated sectors are satisfied with services offered by EWURA-2022.
